King and I --1st project :D


                     We watched King and I.It was so exciting at first because King mungkot has many concubine and royal children. so let's start the King and I .


                 Mrs. Anna Leonowens and her son Louis arrive in Bangkok, where she has contracted to teach English to the children of the royal household. She threatens to leave when the house she had been promised is not available, but falls in love with the children. A new slave, a gift of a vassal king, translates "Uncle Tom's Cabin" into a Siamese ballet, expressing her unhappiness at being with the King. She attempts to escape with her lover. Anna and the King fall in love, but her British upbringing inhibits her from joining his harem. She is just about to leave Siam when she hears of the King's imminent death, and returns to help his son, her favorite pupil, rule his people. After the death of her husband, Anna Owens moves from England to Siam with her son Louis to become a teacher for the children of the king of Siam. She finds Siamese customs to be quite different from English ones, which brings her often in conflict with the king. However, after some time they find themselves getting along much better.

Historical significance of the film :
     It doesn't matter if our traditions are different the important is we understand each other.Even the King has many concubine he did not desolate his children and his concubine. He has a generous heart even
he maltreatment his slaves.Love a person even he/she did a bad things.

Social Relevance of the film to our society :
     We respect the higher position in our community like the Siam people do.We have a Datu like in the Siam the Kings was the ruler.Like in the Philippines the men has a chance to have many concubine..
